Flower for every Season

What season does your favourite flower grow? What’s the best choice of flower for your wedding month? When adding elements to invites, one of the popular choices will be flowers. I know some flowers, yeah…Roses, Sunflowers, Lilies, Tulips, Carnations, and…so forth… (So forth here means, I have little idea of the rest of them, until a client will tell us about them. Something we’ve often laughed at ourselves about was when a client introduced us to the Birds of Paradise… yup, these are flowers, and not “Birds”.

I’ve done some research and thanks to “Martha Stewart’s Weddings, Ideas, and Inspirations”, I’ve learned a little bit more in the nomenclature of the flower species, and as a bonus, I now know when they are in season! Yey! I can now Google them and actually see what they look like and know if they will appear anywhere in my invitation and other essential wedding props. There are more flowers worldwide, and if you can share some fabulous flowers that are perfect for weddings, feel free to share it on the comments below. Do add the best time they grow as well so I can add them to Martha’s list.. Thanks!
